The Church

What a blessing to be a part of the church age.  Christ established the church.  Christ shed His blood and died for the church. The church is near to the heart of our Saviour.

God’s plan is for you to be a part of a local assembly of saved, baptized believers with the purpose of carrying forth the great commission; worshipping Christ; and loving, praying for, edifying and encouraging the saints of God in your local assembly as well as other local churches around the world. 

THE CHURCH (SERIES 220) will help you to see Christ’s position in the church.  Also, you will see your privileges and responsibilities in the local church.

1. Christ is the Head of the church.
2. God wants His saints  to be faithful in their attendance at church services.
3. The privilege of giving tithes and offerings to the work of God is to be observed with a generous and sacrificial heart.
4. Carrying forth the gospel to all the world is the marching orders for the church.

Christ has done and will continue to do His part in building the church.  Determine you will be a faithful member by doing your part in your local church!
