PSALM 100 – THANKSGIVING PSALM
PSALM 150 – PRAISE PSALM
King David was used to write many of the Psalms. A recurrent theme through the Psalms and throughout David’s life was PRAISE and THANKSGIVING to God!
Psalm 100, the Thanksgiving Psalm, is good to encourage God’s people to always have a thankful heart. This Psalm is also read, preached on and recited more on the celebration of Thanksgiving Day than any other passage of Scripture. Someone has said “if you think then you will thank”! God is good and our thanks should continually and everlastingly be directed toward Him!!
Psalm 150 is a Psalm of Praise! This Praise Psalm tells us where to praise Him, what to praise Him for, with what to praise Him with and who should praise Him. Psalm 150:6 states, “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” God is worthy of our perpetual praise!!
Psalm 100 and 150 are two great Psalms to keep you and I THANKING and PRAISING God!!!
