PSALM 1 – BLESSED MAN’S PSALM
PSALM 23 – SHEPHERDS PSALM
The book of Psalms has been a help, comfort, encouragement and strength for many Christians through the centuries. Some Christians spend time every day in reading a Psalm or two.
Two Psalms that would be good to memorize, meditate on and live out daily are Psalms 1 and 23.
Psalm 1 gives the contrast between the Blessed Man and the Ungodly Man. The lifestyle and daily walk of these two men are totally opposite of each other. God blesses the godly man. The Godly man’s daily walk and final destination is blessed and secure. The ungodly man is “like the chaff which the wind driveth away” and “the way of the ungodly will perish.” Let Psalm 1 help you to be that godly person!
Psalm 23 is one of the most comforting chapters in all the bible. The theme is that God is my Shepherd! Since God is my Shepherd He provides, leads, restores, walks with, chastens, comforts and blesses my life now and for all eternity!
Psalm 1 and 23, two great Psalms to memorize, meditate on and claim for yourself!
